How it works
Booking a private driver in Sri Lanka takes five steps. You see exactly who's driving you, what you'll pay, and what's included — before you commit to anything.
STEP 1
Post your journey
Tell us your pickup, destination, dates, vehicle preference, and number of passengers. Add stops and waiting time for day tours. Multi-day itineraries welcome.
Your request goes to verified drivers who serve your route. Bidding is blind — drivers don't see each other's offers, so they compete on what they actually offer you.
STEP 2
Receive bids from verified drivers
Verified drivers submit all-inclusive bids on your trip. Each bid covers fuel, tolls, parking, and everything else. Bids are blind — drivers compete on merit, not by undercutting each other.
You'll typically receive bids within 2 hours. Need more options? Extend the bidding window.
STEP 3
Compare profiles, reviews, and prices
See each driver's photo, vehicle, spoken languages, and certification status. Reviews appear from real Rymgo trips as we book them — early drivers carry up to 5 verified past-hire references, labelled clearly, until real Rymgo reviews replace them.
Take your time. There's no pressure to book immediately.
STEP 4
Book and pay securely
Choose your driver and pay online — 15% deposit or full amount, your choice. Rymgo holds your payment in escrow until your trip is complete.
Once you book, you'll get your driver's first name and pickup details. Phone contact is released after the cancellation window closes. For urgent coordination before then — flight changes, pickup point switch — message us on WhatsApp 6am–midnight Sri Lanka time, 7 days a week, and we relay to your driver.
STEP 5
Travel with confidence
Your verified driver meets you at the agreed time and place. One price, everything included. Rate your driver after the trip.
Full-payment bookings include a 24-hour dispute window. Rymgo intervenes directly if anything goes wrong.

Message us on WhatsApp 6am–midnight Sri Lanka time. We relay to your driver and update your booking.
What if no one bids?
If your journey doesn't attract offers within the window, we extend it once automatically. If it still doesn't, we reach out to suitable drivers directly. You're never charged for a journey that doesn't get filled.
Verified Drivers
Every driver ID, driving licence, vehicle registration and insurance checked by Rymgo before going live. Drivers with an official SLTDA tourist licence show a badge on their profile.
All-Inclusive Pricing
Fuel, tolls, parking, driver accommodation — every cost covered in one locked price. If a driver asks for anything beyond your locked price, tell us — we'll resolve it and protect you.
Payment Protection
Card payment handled online and held safely by Rymgo until your trip ends.
