What this page covers

When you use rymgo.com, a few small files and entries are saved on your device. Some keep you signed in and keep your trip request safe. One group, analytics, helps us see which pages help travellers plan a trip. This page lists every item by name, what it does and how long it stays.

Your choice about analytics

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before using analytics cookies. We also ask when we cannot tell where you are visiting from. Choose Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the whole site works either way.

You can change your choice at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page, then Accept or Reject. If you switch analytics off, the page reloads once and the analytics cookies are removed from your device.

We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again.

We load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics only after you accept, where we ask. We turn off Google’s advertising features and do not use them. The _ga cookies are saved for rymgo.com only and are not shared with other Rymgo sites.

How you reached Rymgo

NameWhat it doesHow long it stays
rymgo_req_srcStored on your device. Notes how you first reached our site on this visit. It is sent only with a trip request you post.Until you close the tab

In the countries where we ask, we note this only after you accept. Elsewhere we note it as part of your visit. When you post a trip request, we save with it how you first reached our website on that visit — the page you landed on, the website that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link — so we can see which pages and channels bring travellers to Rymgo. We keep this record ourselves and do not pass it to anyone else.

Google Maps (a service provided by Google)

Our address search uses Google Maps, which is loaded from Google when a page with an address box opens. Google provides this service under its own terms and privacy policy. We have not found Google Maps to save a cookie on rymgo.com.
