Do all Rymgo drivers have an SLTDA licence?↓
Every driver on Rymgo passes our verification — ID, driving licence, vehicle registration, and passenger liability insurance, all reviewed before their profile goes live. Some also hold an official SLTDA tourist chauffeur licence. Where a driver holds it, you'll see an SLTDA Licensed badge on their profile.
How does bidding work?↓
You post your journey — where, when, how many passengers. Verified drivers submit blind, all-inclusive bids within 2 hours. You see each driver's profile, vehicle, reviews, and price before choosing. Pick with confidence — your price is locked at booking.
Is the price really all-inclusive?↓
Yes. Every bid on Rymgo is all-inclusive — fuel, tolls, parking, and waiting time are covered. Drivers agree to these terms before bidding. Charging extra is a platform violation.
What if my driver cancels or doesn't show up?↓
If a driver cancels a confirmed booking — or doesn't show — we notify nearby verified drivers immediately and search for a replacement. If we can't find a replacement in time, you receive a full refund and goodwill credit. Until your trip is complete, your payment stays with Rymgo. Reach us on WhatsApp 6am–midnight Sri Lanka time, 7 days a week — we coordinate the replacement directly.
How do I pay?↓
You pay securely online by credit or debit card. Two options. Option B — pay in full upfront (recommended): your payment is held by Rymgo until your trip ends, plus a 24-hour dispute window — extra protection if anything goes wrong. You also save 5% on the trip total. Option A — pay a 15% deposit online, pay the driver 85% in cash at trip end: you keep your money until the day, and Rymgo holds the deposit until your trip is confirmed complete. Card payments are charged in USD; your bank converts at its rate.
What if I need to cancel?↓
Cancel more than 24 hours before your trip and you get a full refund. Less than 24 hours, and the deposit stays with the driver (their day is blocked from other bookings). No-shows: the driver keeps the deposit. The same policy applies to Option A (deposit) and Option B (full payment) — only the amount held changes.
When can I reach you?↓
WhatsApp 6am–midnight Sri Lanka time, 7 days a week — a human, not a bot. For non-urgent questions, email hello@rymgo.com and we reply within a day.
How quickly will I get offers?↓
Most journeys get their first offers within 2 hours. You can wait for more, or book the moment one feels right.
